Last Bank holiday Monday, 4 of my friends & I took a 2-and-a-half hour train from my hometown to visit Barmouth as it was such lovey lovely weather! If you've never been on a train ride before it isn't scary & usually it's one way, the train ride is only £9.30 for a return & if you hate your town like me it's cheap to get away from home for a bit!
The town Barmouth is such a beautiful town with colourful houses, scenic views and really lovely nick-nak shops! We spent almost all of the day on the beach and just sunbathed, it as great as there are secluded areas of the beach as its so big so you can play your music & just relax! There are plenty of places to eat or you could take a packed lunch! Everything's not too expensive, so you can enjoy a day out for under £15? Which is amazing if you ask me!
Sorry for babbling on but I don't know what to post anymore, do I thought you might like to know what I've been up to recently! Hope everybody is doing okay & not stressing too much over exams!!!

march favourites
So basically I haven't posted in what feels like....YEARS, sorry I've kind of neglected it... Oops... Well revision will do that to a girl! But back to the blog; I've always wanted to do "favourites" videos & I decided to do a "march favourite" video, it's a tad over-due but I'm sure you'll live!
Firstly, I want to talk about the soap&glory body scrub which is absolutely AMAAZZINNG! I brought it a few weeks ago & I'm in love, you apply it generously to your body & it scrubs all the dead skin leaving your body smelling and feeling great! The smell is of lime, brown sugar and some other wonderful ingredients that make you want to eat the entire tub! It's also a great retail price at something like £8?
Secondly I want to talk about the LUSH face mask; mask of magnimity, I brought it a few weeks back & I was told you should apply it 2-3 times a week & I've been trying to stick to it, at first it made me break out but as long as you persevere, it'll reduce blemishes & leave your face feeling soft & it smells like peppermint that smells really fresh!
Next, I brought the Rimmel; Kate Moss lipstick in shade 107 & I really do love it, I try to use it just on special occasions as its a dark red that is classy! I also convinced my friend & sister to buy the same lipstick as I loved it so much but check out my other blog post to see a more detailed review on the gorgeous lipstick!
Lastly, although it hasn't been raved about, I feel it should be, I suffer from B's skin so my mum brought me the clean & clear dual-action moisturiser that leaves your skin feeling clear, fresh and reduces blemishes, I use it day and night, I apply it just before I go to bed & in the morning about 5 minutes before I start putting on my make-up as it gives my foundation a more even looking soft look!
I have really noticed the difference in my skin but you also need to remember that if you have bad skin, you can use any type of skin-care product you like but you HAVE to eat healthy and be healthy, drink water instead of coke & when you come home from school & want a snack, cut up a piece of apple instead of a chocolate bar, I promise you'll notice the difference- but enough of me babbling, hope you're all well, byeee 😘

Top 5 favourite films
1. Angus, thongs & perfect snogging; this is my all time favourite ultimate chick flick & will always be my favourite, I think if came out a few years ago but I watch it at least once a month & I couldn't live without it! There's a boy to drool over, an extremely funny main character & every girl can relate to it if you've never seen it I DEMAND you stop what you're doing (once you've finished reading this obvs) and go watch it!
2. The Vow; this has recently climbed up my list of top favourites, I never cry at films yet I saw this in the cinema and cried and cried and cried. It's such a beautiful rom-con with CHANNING TATUM in & RACHEL McADAMS, I mean those two names are enough to make you want to go out & watch the DVD, it's such a lovely storyline and the fact that it's based on a true story makes it even more lovely.
3. Life as we know it; although this is my number 3 on my top favourites, it is such an amazing film it really should be higher. I don't know why I love it so much because it's not very well known but I think I may have a biased opinion as I'm in love with Katherine Heigl as an actress & she plays her role great! It's a cute rom-com that picks you up when you're down (also if you love josh duhamel, watch this)
4. 500 days of summer; now this is more the oh-so typical romantic comedy & you're probably surprised it isn't my number one but I'm one of those girls who loves a soppy film and this doesn't really fall under that category but I love it nevertheless! If you haven't heard of this film? Where have you been? Narnia? You don't really need me to tell you to go watch it!
5. Friends with benefits; now also this film is obviously well known, everybody loves it and you could see this coming from a mile off but these top 5 are to tell you all 5 films that I suggest you go & watch! Mila Kunis is my girl crush, I think she's everybody's right??? Anyways if that wasn't enough to satisfy your needs, the one & only Mr JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE is in this film, they make a great duo & it's a really uplifting, funny & happy film that I recommend you go watch!!
Anyways, sorry if this was boring but I hope you enjoyed reading it? That makes little sense if it was boring. Well if you are reading this stupid little paragraph you get an imaginary medal off me from not falling asleep, rambling now..... PEACE OUT ✌

Kate Moss Lipstick review
As some of you may know (unless you live under a rock.... But then why would you be reading this if you lived under a rock? No Wi-Fi Em, duhh.. Okay wondering off subject now....) Anyways boots have got a 3 for 2 deal on at the moment and I recently purchased (as I'd been dying to try it out) the Kate Moss rimmel lipstick in shade 107, the shade is slightly red with a tint of purples I'd say? I saw somebody wear it, loved it so had to buy it!
It's priced at £5.49 which is a reasonable price for lipstick I think, but if it hadn't had gotten such high recommendations off of everybody in the instaphere (just made that word up, I shorten words, I'm just lazy) I wouldn't have brought it! I also got the Rimmel matte pro finish nail polish as everybody had been raving about that & a sparkly blue glitter Barry M nail varnish for free because it's 3 for 2 which is an added bonus!!
I'd say the Rimmel lipstick is good but I was slightly disappointed as I don't think it stays on my lips for very long as I lick my lips a lot and the colour rubs off but annoyingly stays on around the edges so I tend to rub it off & then re-apply anyway. It also isn't great if you are spending the night in with your boyfriend per say as it rubs off after kissing BUT I don't tend to wear lipsticks & I have gotten compliments wearing this so of you don't do these things then i'd recommend buying this as a lot of people have raved about it & heck who am I to make up your decisions buy it if you wish or if you do not wish!?
As its 1.30 in the morning & I have to be up early-ish tomorrow I'm going to stop wasting your time & bid you g'night!

My favourite LUSH products
Unfortunately I'm not lucky enough to have a Lush store in my town but maybe isn't so unfortunate as i'd probably have no money at all.... But fortunately we have on about 20 minutes away and i visit whenever I can as Lush is my unhealthy addiction. It's not just a bath bomb though as everybody would understand... IT'S A WAY OF LIFE (okay, maybe a tad over the top but they're great right?) so I havent tried out all of the products but i've tried a few so will give you my Top 5, 1 being the best and 5 being great but the lowest in what i've brought. (I recently brought the blackberry bath bomb, the enchanter and dragons egg so i'll let you know how they are)
My Top 5;
Number 5; Pop In The Bath, I was really lucky to win a giveaway a while ago and the prize was two lush bath bombs, I got the pop in the bath and the think pink bath bomb and i was over the moon to win! I was so proud, ha, sounds silly now! Anyways back to the "pop in the bath" bath bomb, I loved it but it as i didnt realise until it started to fizz in my water it was a bubble bar and just created mountains of bubbles, it was lovely but not what i was expecting. I'd recommend going out to buy this if you want tons of bubbles in your bath and it lasted me 3or 4 bath as it didnt all fizz out so i could re-use it.
Number 4; Space Girl, i used this bath bomb a couple of weeks ago and brought it because everybody had recommended it and it was quite cheap at something like £2.90 i think? It made my bath bomb a lovely lilac/purple and smelt lovely, it also left glitter at the bottom of my bath which was an unexpected surprise and honestly such a lovely idea as my body was glistening afterwards and so was the bath water! It's a great cheap bath bomb and really great if you want a glittery bath!
Number 3; Sex Bomb, i've heard so many people recommend this bath bomb so I simply HAD to try it, I though it was quite pricey so i was determined to use it for a few baths so i probably didnt get the full effect of it but it lasted for 3 baths on different occasions and EVERY TIME the whole house smelt beautiful as the smell was so strong, the water was a lovely pink all the time and afterwards i didn't even need to moisturise my skin as it felt so soft from the water which is an added bonus! Definitely recommend this bath bomb if you want your skin to be moisturised and smelling lovely!
Number 2; Twilight, now also a lot of people had recommended this bath bomb and it really lived up to my expectations, it is most definitely my favourite bath bomb that i've tried from LUSH & i'd use it again and again as the water was beautiful looking as you can see if you check out my instagram(perksofbeingemma_) it was a mixture of pink and blue if you let the bath bomb fizz out completely then afterwards the water was a purplely, pinky colour! There was also space dust in it which kept on popping at the bottom of my bath which was fun! Honestly cant recommend this bath bomb enough, worth every penny of the £3.20 i spent it on, made, made lovely colours, smelt amazing and left my skin feeling beautifully soft!
Number 1 (2 products- i kinda cheated but i forgot about one of my all-time favourite LUSH products); My favourite lush products aren't bath bombs because that's what I love about bath bombs, I love that you can buy face masks, lip scrubs, make up, soaps and a lot, a lot of other things! So Number 1 is the mask of magnanimity because i brought the smaller pot at £4.95 which is a good price for a face mask that works wonders, it smells of peppermint and is green, you leave it on for 10 minutes and as soon as you remove it, your skin feels soft already! I'd recommend this to anybody who suffers from frequent break outs and blemish and also rough skin, i'd i only been using it for a week and its made me break out but it's because its clearing my skin and doing its job already!
Also as a sneaky addition to my Top 5 products, is the bubblegum Lip Scrub. This has been talked about all over everywhere so i had to get some myself and see what all the fuss was about. At first I didn't understand the concept of the lib scrub and just thought it was a weird but lovely tasting lipgloss, it isnt! What you do it you scrub your lips with this sugary treat, lick the excess off which tastes A-MAZINNGG and then put on any lip balm and all your chapped lips vanish, it;s the best lip product on the market for people who suffer from chapped lips, if you read this blog and dont buy anything or research or like anything else, go look at the bubblegum lip scrub, you can get popcorn, mint and other flavours but its a great buy and the pots lasted me AGES and is only £5.25
